| Algonquin Provincial Park. Canoe Trip: Tim River / Why graze in the water?
In fact moose only graze in the water in the spring and early summer. This is because the plants are rich in salt which they lack during the winter. Later in the year they tend to eat more in the woods and are less easy to spot.
